Final contestants show off their creativity in Nabil Chef Competition during last stage of contest

 

Amman, Jordan – February 2013 – Nabil Foods, the most prominent name in the frozen food industry in Jordan and the region, concluded the final stage of the Nabil Chef Competition, in which the contestants presented their dishes to the judging committee.

 

The eight finalists prepared their dishes over two days in Nabil’s state-of-the-art showroom, using their favorite Nabil products to create delicious, inventive dishes. The preparations were done in the presence of the judging committee, which included chefs Abdulrahman Judeh, Dima Hijawi and Nidal Al Buraihi. The competition was full of excitement, as the finalists created a competitive, exhilarating atmosphere.

The winners will be announced on February 7, 2013; the first winner will be chosen by the judging committee, and the second by votes on the videos uploaded to Nabil’s Facebook page. Both winners will receive a freezer full of delicious Nabil Foods products, as well as a selection of cooking equipment, including a grill, frying pan and microwave.

Nabil Foods announces the winners of the Nabil Chef Competition

 

Amman, Jordan – February 2013 – Nabil Foods, the most prominent name in the frozen food industry in Jordan and the region, recently revealed the names of the two winners of the Nabil Chef Competition during a ceremony held at Nabil’s state-of-the-art showroom on February 7. The event was held in the presence of the eight finalists and the judging committee, in addition to various officials from Nabil Foods.

 

The competition focused on the creation of innovative dishes using Nabil products. The judging committee, which included chefs Abdulrahman Judeh, Dima Hijawi and Nidal Al Buraihi, selected the first winner, Enas Qaddara, for her “Toast fried chicken” dish, while the second winner, Sana Salah, was selected by visitors to the Nabil Foods Facebook page, receiving 838 votes for the video of her preparing her dish, “Vegetable cannelloni with meatballs”. 

 

The two winners were greeted by Nabil Foods Marketing Director Farah Rassam, who commented on the occasion, saying, “We at Nabil are very pleased with the outcome of the Nabil Chef Competition, which allowed our customers to call upon their innovation and creativity in order to discover new, delicious uses for our wide range of products.
