Amman, Jordan – January 2014 – Nabil Foods, the most prominent name in the frozen food industry in Jordan and the region, recently launched its “Cooking and Kitchen Management” courses in collaboration with Global Communities. Nabil’s resident chef, Nidal Al Burehi, and the director general of Global Communities, Waleed Al Tarawneh, recently held a ceremony to commemorate the launch of these courses.
As per a memorandum of understanding signed by Nabil Foods and Global Communities, Nabil Foods will conduct a series of theoretical and practical training sessions in the field of kitchen management. The main purpose of these sessions, which will be held at Nabil’s showroom on Abdallah Ghosheh Street, is to empower local youth by providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the rapidly growing hospitality and tourism industries.
Commenting on the occasion, Nabil Foods Marketing Director, Farah Rassam, said, “As an established and leading name in Jordan’s food industry, we at Nabil Foods are keen to share our knowledge and insight with Jordanian youth, in order to empower them in some of the Kingdom’s most viable, high-demand industries. Global Communities, through its MENA YES Program, seeks to empower youth and enable them to enter the workforce, either as skilled laborers or entrepreneurs, providing them with the skills required to ensure their success. Nabil Foods was founded in 1945 and today is considered one of the most prominent names in the frozen food industry in Jordan and the region.
